After we’d eaten at a local Mcdonalds, one of the hosts even came back to pick us up. We’d arrived cold and completely soaked from our motorcycle trip, and they let us put all three bikes in the garage and hung our wet clothes up to dry. They were so welcoming. Great stay!

The bikes could be locked away in the garage, which was handy while we were cycling the EV5. Bim Cathele sits just off the route, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. They also cooked a superb dinner and breakfast. We’d happily recommend it.

We showed up on our motorbikes in heavy rain, and they immediately offered to put the bikes indoors. The people were really friendly, and they even gave us a lift to a nearby restaurant.

Catherine was a wonderful host, and breakfast was lovely, with traditional Alsace touches. Our family of four had a beautiful suite with plenty of room, a great bathroom, and everything was spotlessly clean. It was a perfect overnight stop on the way between Italy and the UK. What a find!

It’s easy to chat with the other guests around the breakfast table, even if you’re just asking someone to pass the jam or bread. There’s one big table, piled with tasty things. Bim Cathele is a small, lovingly run B&B in a quiet village, with two very roomy rooms furnished with antiques. The bathroom is spacious and modern, and had recently been renovated.
