The person who looked after the rental was friendly and helpful, and the garden is big. Shops are close, the scenery is pleasant, and there’s plenty of greenery without traffic noise. The old house has an odd layout, with two bedrooms, the kitchen, and dining room downstairs, while the living room is on the second floor. You get used to it, and there are lots of beds and bathrooms. We stayed five days around Christmas 2021. Some shutters won’t close, and a few bedrooms lack blackout blinds. The kitchen is short on equipment, the finish is sloppy, and lots of little things are broken. There’s no smoke detector and some electrical outlets wobble, so safety isn’t assured. It’s a nice place in some ways, but needs repairs.

There’s room for a lot of people, but the cottage is run down and poorly cared for, with outdated equipment. The outside staircase is unsafe. It needs a complete renovation and to be brought up to code.

Mr. Rak was attentive and did a lot to make our stay go smoothly. He’s a very friendly and helpful owner. This family-run guesthouse has the amenities needed for a group of 30, and it felt really welcoming. I highly recommend it!

They charged €700 for two nights, and the staff couldn’t even be bothered to answer our questions. Their unfriendly attitude and lack of response don’t give me much confidence in the service. I strongly recommend against staying here.
