The staff were the highlight of our stay at Hotel Mercure Marne-la-Vallée Bussy-Saint-Georges from May 8th to May 11th, 2026. Everyone we met was kind, helpful, welcoming, and available, which made a real difference. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of sweet and savoury choices and very good quality. The hotel’s location worked really well for Disneyland Paris and for getting there by taxi from the airport. Restaurants, takeaway pizzerias, kebab shops, and Asian food are all around the hotel, which was handy with kids. Construction by the municipality in the square outside looked a bit rough, but it didn’t disturb us much. The room needed better upkeep. The bathroom door handle was nearly falling off, and pulling the door brought all four screws out with it. That didn’t feel safe with our two young children, especially the one who’s only three. The bathroom door also squeaked loudly every time we opened it, which was inconvenient when getting ready while the kids were asleep. We’ve stayed at Mercure many times for work, so given the brand and the price, I expected a somewhat higher standard. We had a fairly positive stay, but room maintenance needs to better match what I’d expect from Mercure.

The train station is 200m from the hotel, and the ride to Disney takes seven minutes, just two stops. Trains run often. A one-way ticket cost 2.55 Euros for adults and 1.30 for children aged 4 to 10. It costs the same to reach central Paris, which takes around 45 minutes. We were a family of four visiting both the Disney parcs and central Paris, and would definitely stay here again. Our room faced the town plaza, which was being renovated during our visit, but we didn’t notice any noise. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily, as expected, and the staff were attentive and helpful, especially in the breakfast room.

We were staying in a nearby apartment and came to Hotel Mercure for breakfast. The people at reception and in the breakfast room were lovely and welcomed us like part of the Mercure family. Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to make us feel at home. When we checked out at 11 on our last day, they kindly stored our luggage before we headed to the airport, so we could walk around without a worry. The location is hard to beat, right in the town centre and a very short walk from the RER station. Paris is 30 minutes away and Disneyland takes seven. Thank you for everything, you were so kind!

The front office lady who helped at check-in and check-out was really accommodating, though I can’t remember her name. The team also decorated our room after I told them about my condition, which was thoughtful. As an ALL Platinum member, I got a room upgrade. I was surprised when they quoted 80 Euro for early check-in, but after I pointed out it was a Platinum benefit, the staff waived the fee. The hotel is very close to the train station, handy for Disneyland and la vallée village, which is under 15 or 20 minutes away depending on traffic. The interior was okay, a little dated but still comfortable. Aside from the early check-in charge situation, everything else was perfect.

The reception team were amazing and made the stay special for my daughter. Service was excellent, and the hotel is well placed for the Disney Parks and travel into Paris.
