Villa Bellagio Marne la Vallée

The hotel is a five-minute walk from the station. From there it’s just two stops to Disneyland, or about 35 minutes in the other direction to Paris. The rooms were nice enough, though a few things could use cosmetic improvement. Renovations are due to start soon.

We only used the hotel for sleeping because we were so busy, and the discounted price made it well worth it. We were lucky to get a quadruple room made up of two separate rooms joined by a door, each with its own balcony. Having a fridge and sink was really handy. The staff were lovely and friendly, though the two bedside outlets didn’t work.

The corridors were dirty, and my experience with Villa bellagio was very bad. After we checked out at 10am, we reached Holland at 6pm and called about my tablet, which I’d forgotten there. At first they said they hadn’t found anything. After several calls, they said they had it, asked for my email and phone number, but never contacted me. They then said I had to send my credit card details before they could mail it, meaning I’d have to pay postage. We searched the whole room before checking out. Tomorrow, 14/1/2017, I’m going all the way to Paris to get my tablet back. Hotels should clean rooms after checkout. Watch out with this hotel.

The hallway looked as if people had thrown up. Our shower was missing its shower head, and when I asked the front desk for one, they told me, “This isn’t a 4 or 5 star hotel.” I found that very offensive. I’d never recommend anyone stay here.
