The peaceful garden was a lovely place to enjoy breakfast, and Francesca surprised us each morning with different fresh breads, pastries, homemade jams, and local treats. We spent a dreamlike week in the Provence countryside at Francesca’s Maison Lou Roucas. The villa is spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. Our room was comfortable, and the garden and setting were idyllic. Francesca was a wonderful host who did so much to make our stay special. She recommended charming villages, local attractions, and excellent restaurants, and organized our daily itinerary into an unforgettable experience. She also makes pottery with lots of original ideas. I especially love the olive container and butter dish. We couldn't have asked for a better place in Provence. Thank you, Francesca, for your incredible hospitality. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat. There’s a large parking area a one-minute walk from the villa. I've also attached some information and useful links for your stay in Provence.

Francesca gave us a warm welcome at Lou Roucas in Cabrières d'Aigues, and we had a wonderful stay. Our room was spotless and stayed pleasantly cool behind its thick walls. The quiet surroundings were great for relaxing, with Pertuis, Cadenet, Cucuron, and Lourmarin still nearby. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh, delicious products. We highly recommend this place.

The breakfasts were a real treat, different every morning and delicious. We had seasonal local fruit juices, sometimes made with fruit our host picked on her walks, along with savory tarts or open-faced sandwiches, desserts, jams, fruit salads, and pastries, all prepared with care. Food lovers won't be disappointed! Franchesca's is a great base for exploring the region. We had a lovely stay in an authentic house with simple, tasteful, personal decor and a cozy family-home feel. It was very peaceful, and the garden is charming. We visited at the end of August and enjoyed the quieter start of the off-season. The one small drawback is parking. The nearest option is 300m away at the bottom of the village, which gave us a little exercise to balance out all the eating! Geraldine from Normandy.

Francesca made us feel right at home with her lovely welcome, and her breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed discovering less touristy places in the South at the end of August, just as the off-season was beginning. What a pleasure. Thank you!

I came across information about Gabriel de Gué, a homestay/accommodation, on Facebook in July 2020. It has a wide view and beautiful scenery, and I hope to visit in person when I travel.
