Cabrieres is a great base for exploring the Luberon. You’ll need a car, but you don’t have to spend all day driving. After a hot afternoon out, you can come back, cool off by the warm pool, take a nap, and head out again feeling rested. Pascal is a lovely host, the place is spotless, and the rooms have A/C. There’s good parking out front, and she makes a very good breakfast with fresh croissants and baguettes.

She didn’t have any rooms available, but the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. She kindly called around to find us somewhere to stay. The house and garden looked delightful, especially the pool, so hopefully there’ll be a room for us another time. Many thanks for making the effort for us, Madame!

The house was just what we’d hoped for, and the location is perfect for exploring the region. Our room was tastefully decorated, and the host was attentive while still giving us space. The pool is exclusively for your use, which was fantastic. I can only say: go for it!
