L'empreinte Hotel

The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and quiet. The bathroom could use a bit of updating. Breakfast was fine, though I would've liked eggs, maybe scrambled or an omelette, plus some vegetables. Without those, it was mostly pastries, jam, ham, and cheese.

We booked four nights but left after less than six hours because the conditions made it impossible to stay. I checked in late on May 18, 2023, and had to leave at 7 a.m. My partner stayed until around 9 or 10 to pack our things, then checked out too. I had to find another hotel so I could sleep and rest after work. The room was noisy overnight. From about 1 to 4 a.m., staff were running and making noise in the hallway, so I couldn't sleep. The air conditioning didn't work and I was hot the whole time. The sink was clogged, there was mold on the walls, and the shower floor shifted as if it might break and made a lot of noise when stepped on. I sent photos showing the condition of the place and asked for a refund since we only stayed one night. They charged the full amount and then stopped responding. It felt like a scam at a five star price. The experience was the worst.

I was only there for a few hours, but the receptionist was helpful and checkout was smooth and professional. I was given room N1, which I later realized was an Accessible Room (H). That wasn't a problem for me.

We found the rooms clean and the staff friendly, and the price was good. It's a nice hotel for visiting Cannes, Niça, or Mònaco by train. I definitely recommend taking the train.
