We only stopped overnight, but Cahors has enough to see that I’d suggest staying longer and exploring. The hotel itself has welcoming, friendly, professional staff and nicely equipped rooms. There’s a pleasant indoor pool and sun deck, plus a well-stocked bar. The bar-lounge serves a nice choice of freshly cooked light meals. And the chocolate cake may be the best I’ve ever tasted 😋.

The balcony had a fantastic view of the Pont Valentre, and parking was free, which came in handy. We were there just one night, but the service and breakfast were both excellent. We’ll be back next year for a few more days to see more of the area. I couldn’t fault the hotel.

We’d stay here again when we return to Cahors. It’s easy to walk from the hotel to both the town centre and train station, and our two rooms were clean, in good shape, and had lovely views of the Lot River. The staff were friendly and polite. One of them also gave us useful local tips for things to do while cruising on the river.

We had a junior suite with plenty of space to relax, and the staff made us feel welcome both at check-in and in the restaurant. The cake, drinks, and breakfast were fantastic. It’s a lovely place to stay in Cahors, right by the historic bridge, with views over the river.

We spent three nights here in June 2024 on a cycling tour. The hotel is in a beautiful riverside setting, with a wonderful view of the Gothic bridge, and it has excellent secure bike parking. Our room was bright and modern, with a good shower and bathroom. The bed felt a little too firm for me, but it wasn’t terrible. WiFi and breakfast were excellent, and the staff were attentive and helpful. We highly recommend it.
