ibis budget Cahors

It was my first stay at an ibis, and I'll definitely come back. The room was clean and fairly spacious, and I really liked the bathroom. It wasn't one of those plastic ones you often get in other budget hotels. There was some black gunk along the bottom of the shower walls, though, and the table could've been a little bigger. I also couldn't open the windows very far for fresh air. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff were friendly. I missed trying the pool this time, but I'll give it a go on my next visit.

Agathe was so sweet and made sure we could find what we needed in a town with very little around. She really went the extra mile. I can imagine her greeting guests even if she weren't working at the front desk, and I love and appreciate that kind of care. The staff took great care of us. Best Ibis ever!

Our ground-floor double was spacious, modern, and clean, and the layout and decor clearly had a lot of thought put into them. This is a great-looking place, far from an ordinary ibis budget. The location is great too, and the price was very good. A+++

We were told in person that the hotel was full, but we then managed to book a room through booking.com, which had already charged us. At the desk they rudely kept saying there was no room. After a long argument, they gave us a room with one bed, then later moved us to one with two. At least two rooms seemed to be empty, so it felt like they had lied about being fully booked. They were also arrogant about speaking English with us. A very bad experience.
