We were four people staying for two nights in September, and the private garden was a lovely quiet spot. We enjoyed the fenced pool and its many loungers, then had drinks on the terrace before dinner. The spa next door, run by Greg's wife, offers treatments for an extra charge. Gregory was warm and accommodating, even helping us with a video call and being flexible when we needed an early departure. The guest house is bright, modern, tastefully renovated and very clean, with a secure gated car park at the back. The town centre, with plenty of cafés and restaurants, is an easy walk away. Breakfast was excellent, with local products, homemade jams, pastries and meats. There’s an elevator for luggage, air conditioning throughout, and we could use the fridge for our wine. Our compact bedroom was thoughtfully laid out, with a comfortable bed and good quality bedding. A full-length mirror would have helped. The enclosed shower had lots of hot water, and the toilets use recycled water. I’d happily recommend it.

The cathedral bells carry over to the gîte, which is a lovely detail. I was there in autumn, so I didn’t get to use the terrace for breakfast, but it looks like it would be a great spot once the weather is warmer.

The room was really comfortable, and our hosts were terrific. A perfect place to stay in beautiful Cahors, five stars all around!

We had a fabulous time here. It’s a family-run hotel, with Gregory at the helm alongside his wife. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there are lots of personal touches. Breakfast was lovely too, served in a beautiful sunny setting. I’d definitely recommend it.

A lovely renovated house, and the owner was very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the homemade jams. We’ll book here again when we’re back in Cahors.
