All the dishes were made with fresh local ingredients, and they looked as beautiful as they tasted. It was the best meal I’d had in a long time. The New Mexican chef and her husband serve lunch Friday through Sunday, and Marco takes care of the flower arrangements and cocktails, which were delicious too. Thanks to everyone. The picturesque estate sits among vineyards in beautiful countryside. When I visited in February 2012, Château de Salettes in Cahuzac-sur-Vère was a gourmet restaurant, and I thought it was very good. 1|23|13

The rooms are spacious and the staff are kind, skilled, and very nice. The place is gorgeous, though the rooms could use more light. The only thing I felt was missing in the spa was a hammam. Worth a visit if you can afford it.

Getting there along a quiet country road, you find a historic castle tucked into its own vineyard and lovely countryside. It has been remodeled and furnished nicely. The service was good, and the food was incredibly good.

The price feels high for what you get. It’s a beautiful place for a relaxing meal, and the presentation is good, but don’t expect high quality food or wines. There was very little interaction with the staff.
