We came in 2019 and returned in May 2025. This lovely place on the bridge at Cajarc has a lively feel and lovely staff. It seems rejuvenated, and lunch is still excellent value. Marion and Tim x

It was pretty busy, so I'd recommend booking ahead even though I managed to get a table without a reservation. Lunch was great, both the food and the service. I've recommended the place to a friend already, and I'll be back.

The Auberge is by the river and near the centre of the village. Our room was a bit unusual, with the shower cubicle right in the room, but it was pretty okay. Breakfast was okay too. We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the Auberge. One tip: call ahead if you plan to eat in the village. For some reason, places seem to fill up quickly on weekends, unless we were just unlucky.
