We had a very good meal at Brasserie Acquviva after walking into town. We only stayed one night and left early, so didn’t get to try breakfast. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have excellent modern showers, and we received a very friendly welcome. Recommended. The photos show the swimming pools at the bridge by Albertacce, five minutes down the road, and views of the centre of Calacuccia.

The garden is a great spot to work, read, and enjoy the surroundings, and the hotel has a lovely atmosphere. We found it well equipped for international guests, with a comfortable bed and linens, effective air conditioning, and fast Wi-Fi. Breakfast was great and there’s a nice bar. It’s been recently renovated while keeping its charm. I’d highly recommend dinner at Pizza Chez Manu just down the road.

The balcony gives you a view of the mountains around the valley, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough for streaming videos on demand. It’s a nice, clean little hotel in calacuccia. Unfortunately, the receptionist, who I guess was the owner, only speaks French.

The room and bathroom weren’t clean, and the shower water was barely warm. The single-ply toilet paper made your a** bleed. There’s a petrol station right in front of the hotel. We were treated extremely rudely when we arrived.
