Les Sables Blancs de la Liscia

It's a great spot if you're after a quieter holiday, with beautiful Ajaccio less than a 20-minute drive away. The residence has plenty of places to stay, with views out to sea and the sunset. The feel is elegant but informal, and the beach is very close. Guests can use the complex's pool, and there's lots of parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we thought the value for money was excellent.

We were in a garden-level apartment, just 10 meters from the pool and 60 meters from the beach. It had air conditioning and a lovely pergola facing the sunset. The accommodation is very well located, and the apartments have excellent amenities. The one small issue was apartment 3: despite its large bay window, none of the three bedrooms had windows.

The owner was kind and efficient, and communication was excellent. I also appreciated having a storage space with a personal key for bikes or other belongings. The accommodation was clean and had everything needed, including cooking facilities. There's a private walkway of about 50 meters from the complex to the beach, and the place is comfortable and relaxing. I wasn't fully happy, though: despite what the booking sites say, not every accommodation has a balcony, and mine didn't. They also ask for a hefty €250 security deposit. It was refunded promptly, but I still found it a bit annoying.
