Camping Paradella

We came with friends and were disappointed. This three-star campsite should be two stars at most. Some of the concrete manholes covered in artificial grass are cracked, and you could fall into them. The pool filter barely filters, and paying for electricity seems pointless because the voltage drops are so bad you can’t even charge a phone. The campsite lights are only in some areas, and some don’t work. Ropes cross the road every five metres and seem likely to damage your car’s suspension. There’s no water access at the barbecue either. The worst part was the owner keeping our personal document as “security” for the whole stay. We’re in the 21st century. They could scan it or give me a form to fill in and return the document. The owner doesn’t know, of course, whether keeping it is illegal. After a few days we found another three-star campsite in Calvi at the same price. It turned out most campsites have websites where you can check prices, and they all looked much better.

I really liked this campsite. The old owner is friendly and talkative, and speaks English well.

The pool was dirty, and the manager was rude. Worst value for money overall.

Close to the airport, with great facilities.
