Bring earplugs. The rooms have no soundproofing, and I could hear every word, alarm, and movement from the neighbours, as if we were in the same room. I was kept awake by their mating and bowel movements. It felt more like a hostel dorm than a hotel. There’s no safe, and although staff apologized about the noise, they didn't offer compensation or move me when I asked. The balconies don't get any sun, so this isn't a place for anyone hoping to tan.

The beds were really nice, the shower was great, and the staff were friendly. Everything was perfect. Definitely recommend.

We stayed two nights in September and had a really good experience. The room was nice, the beds were comfortable, and the price was excellent. We didn't try breakfast, but we'd stay again.

The WiFi didn't work, parking at the hotel was limited, and the room had no air conditioning. Opening the windows didn't cool it down at night, so it was hard to sleep without ventilation. The bathroom had no ventilation either, which seems like a recipe for mould, and there was no curtain on the bathroom window, so it isn't suitable for anyone wanting privacy. There was no shower curtain, so showering flooded the bathroom. The floor beside the toilet was dirty, and the seat had yellow-brown corners. Even though staff said the hotel had been renovated over winter, the work looked unfinished, and the toilet seat seemed to have been used before being installed. The cleaning wasn't up to scratch. The room smelled strongly of chemicals when we entered, enough to give me a headache. It seemed to come from the paint. The sound insulation was terrible: we heard every step in the stairwell and every word from people nearby. The doors seemed paper-thin, and you could see when the light was on outside. We arrived before the receptionist left for the evening but missed her, and we couldn't find a solution during our stay. Other hotels were fully booked, we were tired from the road, and the hotel had asked for our bank details before we arrived. In the morning, the woman at reception seemed indifferent to what had happened and suggested calling her boss. On the phone, he minimized our complaints, saying guests complain about a few drops of water in the bathroom. That ended with a so-called generous reduction of €5. The receptionist also said we were the first to complain and showed little understanding of our experience. Never again.
