The hotel is fine and the price is very reasonable, but the street outside is noisy. The air conditioning or ventilation keeps making noise even when it’s switched off, so you’ll definitely want earplugs.

The pool was lovely, and breakfast had a great selection. It’s a clean, nice hotel close to the city’s activities. My room faced the street, though, and it was a little noisy.

Hotel Mariana was a great stay for the price, with nice amenities and a location very close to Calvi’s attractions. I especially liked the rooftop pool, and the staff were really helpful. They kept my luggage while I hiked on the gr20, let me park for free afterward, and helped me get back something I’d left behind after checking out.

The rooftop pool was a hit with our kids, and the views of the beach and mountains were gorgeous. Mona also kindly helped us find a babysitter for one evening, and we were very glad the hotel had air conditioning. Our spacious family room looked out over Calvi and had two balconies. The hotel was comfortable and centrally located, though it’s a bit dated, with old carpeting, some older bathrooms and a few missing lightbulbs. Even so, we had a very nice stay and recommend it.
