Sabine, her family, and the team clearly put a lot of care and passion into this place. They're exceptionally kind, attentive, and always available, and their warm welcome really makes a difference. Every detail seems thoughtfully looked after, and the setting is idyllic and beautifully maintained. It feels comfortable, almost like being at home, and time seems to stand still here. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend it!
We spent a wonderful week here. The houses are well spaced out, so it stays peaceful, and the wooded park is quiet. The residence is about a 25-minute walk from central Calvi. Casa Castagna was very well equipped, including a dishwasher and Nespresso machine, and the air conditioning was welcome on hot days. Some furnishings, dishes, and wallpaper have a vintage look, but updates are gradually improving the comfort and decor, including a new bathroom, modern parquet flooring, and kitchen cabinets. There's a lovely, spacious pool with plenty of loungers, plus mini-golf, ping-pong, and pétanque. The electric car charging station was a big plus for us. Sabine was quick to respond and always available with helpful tips on walks, beaches, and restaurants. Thanks again!
A beautiful, peaceful resort, and a great place for a family holiday with kids. We're still very happy here. :)
The grounds and house were magnificent, and we had a wonderful holiday. Sabine and her husband were incredibly attentive. A little haven of peace in Calvi.
