Ilona au BaskoParadis

Our hosts, Natascha and Bodo, were so attentive and helpful during our stay and when we left. That’s what we’ll remember most, and we’re grateful for everything. We needed a place near Cambo-les-Bains for three weeks, and the apartment suited us perfectly. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, close to the thermal baths, rehabilitation centers, and shops. For a holiday, the location also works well for reaching the coast and lovely places to explore inland, though we didn’t get to make as much use of that.

The south-facing terrace is covered, at ground level, and looks out onto greenery. It’s a lovely addition to this home in a well-kept, fairly recent apartment building. Ilona is easy to recommend, especially for people coming for spa treatments. The apartment is ideally placed, so the thermal baths, market, and shops are all within walking distance. It’s spacious for two, bright, comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean, well insulated, and beautifully decorated.

Ilona was a great place to stay during our spa treatment. It’s a 10-minute walk to the thermal baths and 5 minutes to the center of Cambo. The sunny apartment was quiet, comfortable, and very clean, with a lovely terrace for meals. We were welcomed warmly, and Natascha and Bodo were attentive to everything we needed. Perfect!

Natascha and Bodo really made our stay. They were so welcoming and helpful, and prepared delicious little Basque and organic specialties. We’ll be back next year, and expect to stay for a few years.
