We arrived in the evening after a full day of driving, without a booking and with our dog, after finding the nearest hotel. In this really small village, we walked into a lovely bar and restaurant. I can’t speak French, but everyone was so welcoming. We usually just wing it for stopovers, and this was the first time someone showed us the room before we booked. It was just right for what we needed, and bringing the dog was no problem. They offered us food, though we weren’t hungry, and the restaurant looked lovely. After a refreshing shower, we went down for local beer and wine. A lovely place to stay.

We booked just a few hours before getting there, and it was already past 11 pm, but everything went smoothly. The room was really clean, and the restaurant and lounge were comfortable and beautiful. The area was quiet too. Great experience, thank you.

Just a note that it doesn’t open until 18:00. For a two-star place, the standard was very good: clean and comfortable, with really good service from the hosts. Breakfast was nice too, and ask for eggs.

The studio was clean and comfortable, and the owners were friendly. But the food was terrible. If you run a hotel and restaurant, the food you serve should meet a certain standard. I’m sure we’d have eaten better at the village snack bar than from the menu we were served. Such a shame, since otherwise we might have remembered this place the next time we drove south. Instead, we felt ripped off.

Breakfast by the fireplace was amazing, and the room was lovely. The owner was friendly and nice too. We had a great experience staying here, a perfect stay all in all.
