We booked the entire hotel for a family gathering, and everyone was happy with how it went. The hosts were incredibly kind. It’s what you’d expect for the price, with comfortable beds and clean bedding and other linens.

If you’re after peace and seclusion in the mountains, this is a lovely spot. The place is beautiful and cosy, and the hosts were really nice and accommodating. We were glad to be there!

Rodrique and Marjon were wonderful hosts, friendly and happy to chat in several languages. The food was fabulous: I had goat’s cheese salad to start, then Moules frites, while the other main was beef bourginon. We finished with ice cream and crepes. We didn’t stay at the Chateau, but people we spoke with rated it very highly. Rodrique and Marjon know loads about hill walking, local fetes and markets, cycling, and the surrounding area. We felt very welcome, whether you pop in for lunch or just a drink. I recommend Chateau de Camurac.

It felt cosy and homely, with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and very friendly, welcoming people. I’d definitely recommend making the trip here.

The house had everything we needed ready for us, including wood and beds. The owner was really kind and had even left a bottle of wine and a baguette.
