I Fioretti

That first stop on our motorcycle trip turned out to be a memorable place. The convent setting gives the hotel a real character, though it isn't a modern or conventional hotel. Rooms are simple, with limited extras and a small, roughly queen-size bed. Some showers have been updated and some haven't, but the whole place felt very clean and fresh. The receptionist was warm and professional, and spoke and understood Italian well. Breakfast was excellent, with bread, butter, jam and Corsican biscuits. The price was my one reservation; I felt it could be a bit lower.

The welcome was warm and friendly, and I was struck by how peaceful this former Franciscan monastery felt, with all its history. My room was very comfortable, the view was magnificent, and the bathroom looked beautifully renovated and brand new. Thank you :)

We started our short Corsica vacation here, and the manager made us feel welcome and was very helpful. The big dining room was where we had a generous breakfast. Our room was spacious, bright and clean, with comfortable air conditioning and Wi-Fi, plus a private bathroom that was just as comfortable. There’s a lovely sense of peace in the former convent, and the view from the property makes starting the day especially pleasant. It certainly deserves five stars.

We only booked one night, which feels like a shame now because we should have stayed longer. The building is historic and unusual, and the rooms are minimalist, but they had the comforts we needed. The horizon and sunset views were hard to beat. A warm welcome and breakfast included made the stay even better. We’ll definitely come back!
