The welcome from the staff was fantastic, and the quiet nights meant I got some much-needed, amazing rest. My room was a good size and had what I needed. It was very clean, with soap, fresh hot towels, and complimentary bottled water. Breakfast had an excellent range of local and seasonal food, plus good coffee. I'd stay again without hesitation.

A very bare, badly laid-out room. The pillow is too thin to support your head, and both the sink and shower leak. Staff were inhospitable. It's well away from town, at a busy intersection.

Free parking on site is a real advantage compared with hotels around the port. This is a decent budget hotel, about a 15-minute walk from Cancale's port area. The room was clean and the bed comfortable enough. The shower room is tiny but usable. Breakfast was as expected, with plenty of fresh bread and pastries.

For a three-star place, it was okay. A cosy family hotel, perhaps run by a mother and daughter, in a nice location. Hygiene could be better, as there was black mold in the bathroom. Breakfast was basic. Parking is free, and you can also get a beauty treatment if that appeals.

The location is very good, and Saint-Malo isn't far away. One nice thing is being able to eat oysters every day at the Marché de huîtres.
