Le Querrien

The soup was okay, but the rest of dinner was a disaster. The seafood platter was overboiled, and the cream on the mussels had just been put on top without being melted, almost raw. It felt really unprofessional. The service was bad too: a waitress with glasses shouted while serving and banged cutlery and plates on the table. I’d been back because the first visit at lunch was good and the service completely different. This dinner was truly awful. I hope they improve for future customers, though I won’t return.

The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We had freshly caught sole, and the manager and the new young lad who started last week did a great job deboning it. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. While we waited, we enjoyed the beach view from outside. Parking was just across the road from the beach.

The Dorado and mussels were both excellent. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. A really nice surprise.

We ate here twice in a short time, and the staff even remembered my name when I made a reservation. The service is welcoming and attentive, with a broad menu of shellfish and crustaceans and a nice range of wines to match. The large terrace is spacious, and the restaurant’s nautical decor has its charm. It sits along the harbor route with lovely sea views. The only small downside was that the main courses were overcooked or took too long. Still, a great place to spend time.
