Hôtel Aquarius

My original accommodation fell through, so I spent one night here instead. The owner was genuinely lovely and clearly cared about guests being happy. He went out of his way to help me a few times. The rooms were fine and everything worked. I'd definitely stay again.

A lovely family run place. The outdoor bar and pool make a great spot to relax and sunbathe. Breakfast was good, and the lunch buffet was excellent.

I chose this hotel because I was looking for parking and electric charging. The parking was perfect, but there was no charger, and I was too tired to look for a public one. The room and breakfast were both good, and although the staff didn't speak much English, they were very friendly. There was a swimming pool we were allowed to use, though we were warned it was still very cold.

Everything matched the description, from the rooms to the pool, breakfast and bar, and otherwise I could recommend the hotel. But it was a very smoky place. During our three days there, we breathed in more cigarette smoke than in the whole previous decade, including at breakfast, while swimming and sunbathing. If smoking were banned around the pool and restaurant, I'd gladly give it five stars. The soundproofing wasn't good either. We could practically follow what the people next door were watching on TV and hear them discussing it.
