The only things I liked about the apartment were the air conditioning and the location. It was tiny and quite dirty, with ants inside and clumps of dust and dirt in the bathroom vents. The bathroom was cramped and badly designed. The shower door couldn’t open all the way because it hit a small partition wall blocking the toilet. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and I wasn’t sure how safe the place was. On our first night, someone banged on our door, demanding to be let in, then stood outside yelling for several minutes. We couldn’t call the concierge because the phone inside wasn’t connected to a line. We called the number for the person we booked with, the landlady, and she contacted the concierge.

The location is great, and the apartments are new. But cleaning was poor: I found the place dirty, with used glasses and silverware.

The apartment was nice, clean, and in a fantastic location. The pipes gave off a really awful sewer smell, though, and on Saturday nights it gets very noisy when people leave the nearby bars late.

It was quiet and very clean, but the layout could use some thought. There’s nowhere beside the bed to set a glass or phone, and the shower has no door, so water gets everywhere. The outlet cover was fitted badly. I also don’t like having the toilet in the bathroom, though that’s just my preference.

The spaces feel roomy, modern, and practical.
