The owner was kind and easy to communicate with, and the facilities were good. The place is near the beach, though it isn’t right on the waterfront. Parking looked available in theory, but when we arrived in the evening it was really hard to find an open spot. For two people, and probably a shorter stay, it works. I was there in May and it felt a bit chilly inside. Maybe it warms up a little upstairs at night, but the living room and kitchenette didn’t. Sound insulation is the weak point. Neighbors playing music and talking woke us in the middle of the night. I thought they were downstairs in our apartment, but they were on the other side of the wall. It took about an hour for things to quiet down so we could sleep again, which was pretty disruptive when we’d only stopped for a rest.

Avoid this place. We stayed one night in August, and on arrival found the room hadn’t been cleaned. The sheets had been taken off but not replaced, and had pubic hair and bloodstains. The floor still had dental floss and stains, and there were fecal traces in the toilet bowl. We tried reaching reception, but got no reply because it was late. We ended up sleeping in the previous guest’s sheets. Outrageous. The manager politely called us liars and refused to refund us, despite the photographic evidence. Another business taking advantage of a prime spot on the coast, treating customers like fools while making a hefty profit.
