Hotel Alnea

Breakfast was a nice part of the stay, with fresh croissants, good coffee, and cheese, ham, yogurt, and other things in the first-floor communal room. Ebla was always there to say good morning and answer questions. I spent 19 days at hotel Alnea. Check-in was quick, and the friendly staff asked about my stay so they could find me the best room option. Mine was small but clean, comfortable, and practical, with quiet, excellent air conditioning. Street noise could come through, though shutting the double glazing made it minimal. I really enjoyed my time and would recommend the hotel. I hope I can visit again.

The breakfast was the one letdown for me. For €8.50 a day, it was a baguette, croissant, butter, coffee, juice, and some yogurts, so I'd choose one of the nearby cafés instead. The owners were warm and helpful from the moment I arrived, and the refurbished rooms, though very small, were spotless and well equipped. The hotel sits right in the heart of Cannes, close enough to walk to just about everything. I loved staying here and would gladly come back.

If you plan to sleep with the window open, ask for a room away from the street or use the air conditioning. The hotel is close to restaurants, bars, and the seafront. Noémie was so welcoming when I arrived soaked from the motorcycle, and kindly let me leave the bike outside so I wouldn't have to go back out. The room itself was modest.

The staff really made this a great place to stay while enjoying central Cannes. Huge thanks to all of you.
