Right by Cannes harbour, this is a very pretty building. At night it’s lit up in the colours of the French Flags.

The building looked dull and boring to me, like the rest of Cannes, so I didn’t bother going inside. The sculptures out front are great, though. Go check them out 👌
Yachts, super sports cars, some with very distant license plates that I doubt were driven there, and private jets taking off at least every five minutes. It felt like a parallel universe where a few people hadn’t heard the latest news about the climate crisis and planetary boundaries. Of course, Cannes can’t control what individuals do, but the city can take action to counter it, and we didn’t see any. The festival may give the topic some attention, though it’s still ridiculous with everyone flying in, but the city doesn’t seem to. With Cannes’ popularity comes the chance to act as a role model. The city has to move!
A historic spot to photograph. By the way, it’s called Hotel De Ville, or City Hall in English. :-)
Nothing special, just an ordinary place. Nice enough, though.
