Azurene Royal Hotel

The room was quiet and had air conditioning, a big window with natural light, reliable Wi-Fi and hot water. The location was perfect.

The location is amazing, but this was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in Cannes. My bed was lopsided, and the window looked out onto a restaurant exhaust, so the smell was awful. During my four days there, housekeeping didn’t change the sheets, and the curtains were stained all over. The hotel was poorly maintained.

The room was on the small side, but spotless and well air-conditioned, which mattered in the extreme heat when we arrived. The staff were lovely, as other guests have said, and breakfast at the café downstairs was perfectly fine. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and harbour, and for central Cannes, it was exceptional value for the price.

The receptionist was cheerful and exceptionally helpful every time we spoke. Our room was a normal size, with a comfortable bed, and it was very clean. The price is very good, breakfast is available too, and I’d recommend staying here.
