Cosi

Such a nice spot to unwind over dinner. The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly.

We were visiting from India and came across this upscale restaurant while looking for vegetarian food. It was a surprise to find a whole vegetarian menu, and the starters, salad, and main dishes were fantastic. The lemon tart was a little too acidic for our taste, but still good overall, and its presentation was simple and beautiful. The staff were kind and accommodating. When we complimented the food, our server said the chef owns the restaurant, so he puts care into every meal. Great location, and I’d recommend a visit.

The bill was the only part of the meal that wasn’t undercooked. We waited about 20 minutes just to order, then were left with bread for an hour and a half before the starters arrived. The chicken in the Caesar salad was both raw and off, and the other dishes were cold. Our mains, including an €85 steak, were cold and bland as well, while the service stayed terrible. They comped the Caesar salad and a Diet Coke, which made it seem like this happened regularly. When we complained at the end, the waiter fetched a clearly drunk chef, saying it “wasn’t up to him.” We’d booked while visiting Cannes.

Avi the waiter went above and beyond when my partner and I came in for our wedding anniversary. We had a fantastic meal, and it made our special celebration even better.
