Crisol Belle Epoque

It’s near the Main Street, which is a good location, but this felt more like a motel than a hotel. Our room was dirty and very small, and it was noisy. The shower had no curtain or glass, so water splashed all over the floor.

I found the hotel through Elite Travelers. It’s small, but the staff are very friendly, keep smiling, and are ready to help. The cleanliness also made a good impression. The location is a real plus, with easy access to the train station, beach, and nearby places to eat. Rooms are compact but cozy, well arranged, and bright with natural light. They have the basic amenities guests need. Noise is the main downside. You can hear loud conversations in neighboring rooms and people walking or moving in the hallways, which can make it hard to rest. If you want a clean, welcoming place in a convenient spot, this could suit you, as long as you’re prepared for some noise. Thank you very much.

We had everything we needed in the room and ensuite, including plenty of hanging space and drawers for clothes. The kettle and coffee machine came in handy too. The staff were fantastic, helpful, and friendly, and the place was lovely, clean, and cool. It was an ideal base for walking to most places in Cannes, with the beach five minutes away and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. There’s a little street noise, as you’d expect, but it didn’t bother us. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again, Thomas and Sharon.

The train and bus stations are right there, which made getting around easy, and the neighborhood was great for exploring Cannes, with plenty of places for meals and shopping. Our rooms faced the parking lot, but they were still very quiet. The reception team were all warm and helpful, and breakfast service was worth the modest price. French hotel stars can be a bit underwhelming, but this place clearly puts in the effort to earn its four.
