Cristal Hotel & Spa

Thanks for having me, here and at your other hotels. The hotel is well worth visiting and staying at, especially since it’s so close to the town’s pedestrian area. My thanks and respect to Miss. MATHILDE. Wishing them all the best and more success.

The rooms were clean, the location was excellent, and the staff were professional and helpful. I think one of them was called Tatiana, she was lovely, and the other staff were good too. I did have a parking mix-up. There was no way to add parking when I booked, so I emailed separately. When I arrived, there wasn’t a space for the first night, only for the rest of the stay. The staff said they hadn’t received my request, though they had. I put it down to miscommunication. They made an effort to put things right, and handled it professionally without letting it escalate. The room was a real highlight: I was upgraded on arrival to a junior suite with a balcony, and I loved its layout and spacious feel. Reception staff were professional and informative. I’m so glad I found this lovely hotel at the last minute during my stay in Cannes. It’s about five minutes from the beach and shops, and I’d happily stay again on my next visit.

The broken elevator made leaving especially frustrating. It was meant to take us to the garage where our car was parked, but we had to walk along the road with our luggage and no help from staff. Our Junior suite was in poor shape too. The walls were visibly dirty, there were hairs on the bed, and the furniture was old and in bad condition. For a hotel with a four-star rating, this stay was a major disappointment. We can’t recommend Hotel Crystal in Cannes because of the cleanliness, room condition, and lack of helpful service.
