I should have read the other reviews before booking. I’m in Cannes alone and have visited the city many times, but I accidentally reserved two rooms instead of one. This was unlike any hotel I’ve come across here. Both rooms were very weathered, with chipped furniture and a dirty rug. The terrace looked nothing like the website. Be careful reading the site: it gives the impression of a special hotel with staff from major Paris hotels and a local owner who cares about the community. The place felt like a cheap roadside motel, and the owner didn’t seem to care enough to improve the hotel or rooms. You enter past a frayed rug, then deal with the staff. When I asked to change from two rooms to one, the receptionist said yes, but they wouldn’t refund the difference. I also asked whether breakfast could be included and was told no. This was for almost 600 Euros for ONE NIGHT FOR ONE PERSON at a substandard hotel. They eventually agreed to include breakfast, but seemed reluctant. After seeing the rooms, I could only imagine what breakfast would be like, so I wasn’t interested. Do some more research and find a nicer hotel or even an airbnb. You’ll most likely regret staying here. The website promises warm Mediterranean hospitality at Hotel Le Suquet, but don’t count on it. If you’re traveling to Cannes, you deserve better.

We loved how easy it was to get around from here, with restaurants and shops just a few steps away and the heart of Cannes close by. After long days out, our cozy room was exactly what we needed. The staff were so helpful with our luggage, taxis and water, and they shared useful local tips too. We’ll be back for sure! :)

The pool area is lovely, and the air conditioning worked amazingly well. Staff were terrific, and the rates were great. You can pay to park on site. The walk down to the water is pleasant, but heading back uphill in the summer heat was rough for us, so we took an Uber.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially the dark-haired young woman at reception. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name. Everything was very clean, and the location made it easy to walk either to the beachfront or through charming Le Suquet, next to the port. Both scenic walks took about five minutes.

The staff were courteous and helpful, which was the one bright spot. We booked the hotel Cannes Le Suquet mainly for its swimming pool, but the area was in such poor shape that we never used it. The terrace with sea view was dirty and neglected, and the loungers needed replacing, so I wouldn’t pay extra for it. Our toilet seat was loose and took our entire stay to get fixed. My partner and I were very disappointed. It felt overpriced and in need of care, and we won’t return.
