Felix Faure

Our 24-day trip around Europe had to be cancelled because of COVID. Every Expedia, Bookings, Airbnb, private booking, and flight was refunded or given a full voucher, even when it was nonrefundable. Florella Residences Felix Faure was the exception. Expedia contacted them three times, but each request was denied. The owner said refunds or vouchers had been offered to everyone, but they couldn't do anything for us because we booked through Expedia. Expedia confirmed that's not true: they didn't hold any of the money, and had been trying for months to get a refund or voucher. This was only a one-night stay, and I'm not asking for thousands of dollars back. My parents and the other couple we travelled with both got full refunds for their Cannes accommodation. I don't usually go out of my way to leave a bad review, and this is the first time. There are plenty of other nice places to stay. Don't support people who screw others over. I had taken down my earlier review because I thought they'd refund me, as Expedia had requested.

A tidy, clean apartment in a really central spot. You can walk to nearly everything worth seeing in Cannes.

Getting in was easy, and the place was super comfortable in an excellent location. I love it there.

Those little issues kept the apartment from being perfect. The heating struggled, so evenings felt a bit cold, and the glass shelf above the bathroom sink gets in the way when washing your face or brushing your teeth. The TV wouldn't work; I called, but the person only spoke French and couldn't sort it out. There were coffee pods, but no sugar packets, so I left them alone. The place was nicely furnished, though it wasn't completely clean.
