MOB Hotel Cannes

We ended up needing a room at 9pm after traveling from the Uk to Paris and finding we couldn’t get into our Airbnb. The staff were brilliant and helpful, and had a room with everything we needed. A few things could be better: there are no TVs, and the laundry room’s washing machine, dryers and iron have no English instructions. In some smaller rooms, the extra bed is on the floor and uncomfortable, so it could use a better mattress. The extra beds in larger rooms are fine. A small drinks fridge in the room would also be useful. We still enjoyed our stay.

MOB Hotel Cannes had a relaxed, welcoming feel from the moment I arrived. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive and professional, and did a lot to make the stay comfortable. I liked the creative modern design and the stylish touches around the hotel. My room was clean, spacious and thoughtfully decorated, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. The location is close to the heart of Cannes but still peaceful enough to unwind. I also enjoyed the rooftop terrace and shared spaces, whether for relaxing, socializing or having a drink while taking in the view. There’s a community and culture feel here, with little details that make a difference. I highly recommend it and would come back.

I arrived at 1:30 am, and reception told me the garage would be free since it was late and I was leaving the next day. Nobody mentioned that late checkout would cost 50€ per hour. Later, they also said nobody had told me the garage was free. The service felt very rude and disrespectful, and the floors were extremely dirty. Better not to stay here.

I booked a suite and got construction drilling from the hotel at 7 AM instead of sleep. Reception offered a refund for the disruption, but I never received anything. Months later I’m still trying to get an answer. Emails go unanswered, and calls end with “we’ll check,” but nothing happens. If paying for a room and waking up to a construction soundtrack sounds good to you, MOB Hotel Cannes might suit you. Otherwise, keep expectations low or skip it. I’m still waiting to hear back.
