Mouette YourHostHelper

We book through Booking and check the reviews, and that worked out well here. The apartment was nice ($$$), the keys were in a lockbox, and we left them on the table when we departed. We weren’t given the front door code, so we waited for other tenants and asked them. All good in the end, thank you. YourHostHelper is a management company handling private apartment rentals, including calendars, payments, keys, and cleaning after each stay. It doesn’t control the furniture, comfort, or general look of the apartments. They provide arrival details about collecting the key, getting in, and what to do at departure. Communication is very minimal, by WhatsApp and text. That may explain why the other posts tend to be either 5-star or 1-star.

I’ve been to Cannes three times, and this agency’s apartment was the best one I’ve stayed in. Check-in was simple: I picked up the key on the way there. The apartment was clean and nice, everything worked perfectly, and even the dishes and cutlery were shiny. It was cool inside when I arrived, which was great since it was so hot outside. I especially liked the bed and terrace.

We had a great time in this beautiful apartment. It’s clean, cozy, centrally located, and very well equipped. The host was great, responsive, and happy to help with any questions or issues. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Cannes.

Avoid this company at all costs. I rented an apartment for 6 days in August and had no water at all, so I couldn’t flush the toilet, shower, or wash my hands. They ignored my calls and texts. I went to their office, where they lied to my face. The neighborhood wasn’t the problem. The apartment they gave me was a disaster: the lobby ceiling had collapsed, and a wall inside the apartment was a mess. Because they failed to provide basic things, I had to pay for another place. I can understand if there was a plumbing issue before check-in, but then they should have refunded me or moved me. They shouldn’t have forced me to stay in those inhospitable conditions, or at least they should have answered my calls. Check-in was a joke, with key pickup across the city. They said they’d refund me, then denied it. Never trust this company!
