The host shouted at me aggressively, which felt completely uncalled for and unprofessional. I was charged €100 after accidentally leaving my keys inside the room, an outrageous sum for what seemed like a simple problem. The host also refused to hand over my luggage until I paid, and that made me feel as though I was being held hostage. A door should allow access when keys are left inside. That seems like a basic safety and convenience feature in most accommodations, and guests shouldn't be blamed for something proper infrastructure could prevent. Even if a fee was needed, €100 is excessive, and whether any charge was warranted at all is debatable. This place is a complete rip-off. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere guests are treated with basic respect and fairness.
