Hotel PLM

I expected a lot more for what we paid. The room was tiny and dated, with a sewage smell that never went away, and the place felt more like a dressed-up hostel than a hotel. Then after the first night, my pillow had disappeared, making the next night even less comfortable. Unacceptable, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

For a night or two in Cannes, the location is handy, only a short walk from the train station, and the clean towels and bed linen were welcome. The price makes this a decent budget option in such an expensive area. Just don't expect the Booking.com photos to match exactly: the place is worn, some lights are broken, and the shower isn't very comfortable. Still, it was about what I expected for a short stop.

The breakfast might not be worth 10 euros, but the rest was great. The hotel is clean and nice, the staff are pleasant, and the rooms and beds are comfortable. It's close to the gare/train station, around an 8 minute walk to the beach, and there’s an elevator. For this price and location, it’s hard to do better.

We spent 3 days here and really liked it. It was very clean, the staff were kind, and compared with other places it was really cheap, so the price to quality was great. They even kept our luggages at the hotel after check-out, which gave us some extra time.
