Residhotel Les Coralynes

The staff were really friendly and even let us leave our luggage after checkout. The hotel was clean and spacious, right in the center with easy access to local markets, the train station, and the beach. Check-in and checkout are limited to set hours, and reception closes outside those times. If you're arriving late, you can email the hotel to request check-in instructions.

I chose this hotel through Booking because the options said “pay at the property” and “free cancellation.” Later I was surprised to find I had to pay the full €710 upfront to reserve two days, which went against what Booking had shown. I went ahead with the reservation, then needed to change the dates. The hotel was apparently full, which is fair enough, but they refused to refund the whole payment. That doesn't feel fair to me or future guests, and I felt scammed. Be careful. In response to reception: if you'd replied to Booking promptly, someone else might have rented the room. You took a couple of days to answer my waiver-fee request. The delay was on your end, not mine. I called Booking three times a day to check whether the waiver had been accepted. It wasn't. We all know Cannes is fully booked during the festival, and I'm sure you could have found tenants easily. Anyway, thank you.

We had a memorable holiday at Residhotel les Coralynes and I'd definitely recommend this aparthotel. The room was basic but clean and had what we needed, and it was good value. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Virginie. The location is hilly, though everything we needed was within easy reach.

I was a little doubtful after reading reviews before the trip, but the room turned out to be clean, spacious for Europe, and modern, apart from some kitchen items I didn't use. Residhotel Les Coralynes is well placed, very close to the film festival venues. My only complaint was the sound coming through from the hallway. Sometimes I could hear the elevator ring or people going into their rooms. Even so, I'd definitely recommend it.
