Splendid 90m2 Apartment Coeur de Cannes

They put us, two children and our grandmother, in an attic room reached by outdoor stairs beyond the hotel area. There was no elevator, and nobody had told us beforehand or mentioned this in the conditions. The hallway was so narrow a suitcase could barely get through. The dirt and awful smell everywhere were unbearable. Worst hotel ever.

Breakfast was very good, and the location is only a few metres from the Festival Palace. It’s an older hotel, but generally well maintained. When the minibar didn’t work, the staff promptly replaced it with a brand new one.

Juliana was a real highlight of my stay, so helpful, friendly and resourceful. She made me feel comfortable, and the rest of the staff were amazing too. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice bathroom, good light and an amazing view of the bay and the wheel. The wifi was sometimes weak, though that might have been because I was on the 5th floor, the highest one. It’s easy to walk everywhere from here, but nights were rough. Across the street, the casino club Bissou Bissou played very loud bass music from midnight to 5am, and I barely slept well most of my stay. New York New York restaurant also played music before 11pm and stayed open if people were there. It generally wasn’t a peaceful hotel at night. Breakfast was worth paying for, with enough variety and good food to start the day.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the location was great. Receptionist Lora was so kind and gave us wonderful service. She checked that we were happy with our room and made sure we were well looked after.
