The owner was attentive and very accommodating, and the studio was pleasant, well equipped, and had effective air conditioning. It’s close to the train station and only two minutes from the festival. Since it faces the street, you do hear traffic noise late into the night. It’s a minor drawback, though light sleepers may notice it. Still, it’s a place I’ll remember fondly.

For a few days in Cannes, this is an affordable, central option, especially if you arrive by train. The studio is well kept but very minimalist, and it’s on the third floor with no lift. It does have air conditioning, which is essential in summer. The big thing to plan for is the lack of parking, as the listing says. If you come by car, especially in summer, parking can be a real challenge and cost more than the apartment.

We had a lovely holiday, and Anne Marie was so friendly. The station, beach, and shops are all nearby. Thank you, Anne Marie.

A word of caution: the landlord has been having trouble returning security deposit checks.
