We had already picked out what we wanted at Zara in Cannes (9 Rue d’Antibes), and came in ready to buy. At 20:00 on May 16, 2026, my friend Artur and I were told we couldn't enter, even though Google Maps had said the store was open until 20:30. We explained that we only needed two minutes to grab our items, but the staff shut the doors in front of us and wouldn't listen. They were dismissive and unfriendly, which left us genuinely upset. The lack of respect and professionalism was especially disappointing from a brand with Zara’s reputation. Please look into who closed the store early that day and consider compensating us for the inconvenience and disrespect. If the actual closing time is earlier, the online hours shouldn't mislead customers.

I haven't met anyone else this rude all week, even after visiting Menton, Monaco, Nice, Cannes, and Grasse. The three staff members just chatted together and left me standing there as if I were an annoyance. They didn't even say "bonjour".

The workers were very rude to customers, with bad behavior. They were telling everyone the store closes at 19.15, while the website says 20.00.

After I paid in cash, they gave me a damaged 20 euros bill as change, which I didn't notice at first. When I went back to exchange it, she gave me an attitude and said I should have checked it right away. I told them I'd call the police, and they acted like they didn't care. Then the manager came over, threw a new 20 euros bill on the counter and said bye. I've never seen someone so rude and disrespectful. So unprofessional.

The cashier at Zara in Cannes wouldn't give me a receipt when I bought a blouse. Later that same week I got navy trousers there and had great customer service. I still prefer the Nottingham store, they're so helpful.
