The valley view and location are wonderful, and Capdenac village is a must-see. We stayed a night in the Nougat room at Nicole Bras's place, where the recently renovated room is tastefully done in soothing, harmonious colors. The bed made it easy to relax after a long drive. But Ms. Bras's simple, very warm welcome alone made the stay worthwhile. I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, Madame Bras's warm welcome, and the breakfast so much that we returned for three more nights in June 2025, after our two-night stay in September 2024. When we're next in the area, Paule and Daniel will gladly book again.

This was my fifth stay at Nicole's, and she’s always so welcoming and kind. She does everything to make us comfortable. The room and breakfast were superb, and Nicole is a wonderful person!

We planned a night at the Hauts de Malirat bed and breakfast during our three days in the Lot region in July, then decided to add another night because we felt so comfortable there. Each morning we spent an hour talking with the incredibly kind owner over delicious breakfast, and she shared invaluable tips about local attractions. From this fantastic location, the main tourist sites are within an hour's drive. The value for money is excellent. We've already recommended it to family and friends.

We’d gladly come back if the opportunity arises. Nicole is a very friendly, welcoming hostess who really looks after us, and breakfast is generous with excellent homemade jams. The renovated room is perfect and very clean, with countryside views and a view of Capdenac-le-Haut. We highly recommend this establishment.
