We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely stop. The room was roomy and spotless, with a big bathroom and a really comfortable bed. The receptionist was warm and very helpful, and the hotel was easy to find just off the motorway. You can choose ready-made meals in jars, warmed up by the staff, and eat them in your room or the breakfast room. They’re made by local artisans and tasted very good. You can buy wine too. Pets are welcome for 6 euros. There’s a slow EV charger, but 20 euros for an overnight charge is steep if you just need a top-up. The receptionist said the charging setup might be changing soon, which sounds better. We’d definitely stay again.

We stopped overnight at ACE Hotel on August 30th on our drive from Spain back to the UK with our dog. It’s just beyond Bordeaux and handy for the motorway. Late check-in was possible, and the private supervised garage gave us extra peace of mind. The staff were friendly, and our room was clean and fully equipped. I’d recommend it.

The closed garage was a real plus with a full car, and this is a dog-friendly hotel. Breakfast was good at € 8,50. Our street-facing room got noisy with the windows open, but shutting them made it quiet. It was a little warm if you didn’t want to sleep with the air conditioning on. The shower was great, and the shampoo and shower gel were eco-friendly.

Even with the hotel busy during the rugby World Cup, we had a good stay and it was good value. The rooms were cleaned daily, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and glad to help. It’s also close to the tram line. Brilliant hotel.
