We met the owner, who was very friendly and easy to reach. He replied quickly to our messages. The location works well if you want to walk around or visit the city, though parking right outside isn't easy. The place has a nice modern look, both in the bedrooms and in the shared living room and kitchen. The bedroom was very clean. The kitchen has what you need for breakfast, and you can ask for breakfast for an extra charge; there's also a microwave. The doors to both the house and bedrooms open with a code, fingerprint, or card, which is handy. The big problem was the noise between rooms. You could hear absolutely everything, including a baby crying in another room. The toilet flushing at night or early in the morning sounded as if it were in our own room, and even the microwave downstairs could be heard with our bedroom door shut. That was quite uncomfortable.

It was a tiny room in what felt like a shed conversion, and light came straight in from outside. There were blinds, but they didn't cover the window properly, and no curtains, so we had to use towels to block the light. The portable air conditioner was noisy enough to keep us awake. The bathroom had only a curtain instead of a door. Wi-Fi didn't work, and there was no cell service. They wouldn't offer late checkout even though the room wasn't occupied, or let us check in two hours early. They said the room wasn't ready, but when we went to leave our backpacks, it was clearly free and ready. After I posted a negative review mentioning all of this, the owner pressured me to take it down by messaging and calling me. I don't recommend this experience.

I've stayed in very few places as bad as this one. The room felt like a prison cell, with the bathroom in the same space and only a curtain between them. The portable air conditioner was so loud that it was impossible to stay in the room with it on, and I couldn't have used it all night. It was just one night, but the Wi-Fi was terrible, the location was bad, and the sheets were mediocre.

The rooms and shared spaces were clean, and the doors all use digital codes, so you don't need keys. Everything was fine otherwise. There is a kitchen and refrigerator, but they're reserved for employees, not guests. It would be good to make those facilities available to everyone.
