Aude Cité-City

The breakfast that came with our stay was generous, with fresh fruit, different yogurts, toast, croissants, pain au chocolat, French bread, juice, tea or coffee, plus honey, jams, Nutella and butter. My sister and I are here for a three night break, and so far we've been delighted by Jean-Paul and his wife: their warm welcome, care and tourist advice have all been lovely. Their home has a traditional feel, since it was originally his grandparents' house, and little things like toiletries, towels, a hairdryer and a bottle of water in the fridge have been thought of. Jean Paul has shared helpful ideas for places to eat and visit, and how to explore the city where he's lived all his life. Breakfast was continental, with lots of Jean Pauls homemade breads, and we had a very pleasant stay. Our host Jean Paul greeted us warmly, gave us information and suggested places to visit. The room felt warm and homely and had an en suite bathroom. His family has owned the house since 1850. We'd stay again.

Annie and Jean Paul made us feel so welcome during our one night stay at the beginning of February. Their home is lovely, and everything was just right. We spent a wonderful couple of hours chatting with them, and they were generous with their time and knowledge of the local area. The bathroom was huge and modern, and breakfast was such a banquet that we couldn't finish it. The decor is grand, and Jean-Paul welcomed us like family. A tremendous place.
