Demeure Saint Louis

Stephanie and Marianne were warm and helpful, and found a very safe place for our bikes. We loved the elegant room and had a wonderful stay at this delightful hotel, so close to the city. The cassoulet was superb and the wine was first class, definitely worth having. The city was great too, and we need to find a time to come back and enjoy the hotel some more.

The rooms were great, the breakfasts fabulous, and the service couldn't have been better. This little B&B is very close to the old city. Getting in can be a bit difficult, so let the owner know your arrival time ahead of time and things should go more smoothly.

The rooms at La Demeure Saint Louis are spacious, charming, and nicely decorated. There are comfortable indoor lounges, a lovely garden with a pool, and parking on site. The castle is an easy 15-minute walk away, and we enjoyed going there after dinner with the dog. That meal was one of the highlights. Stéphane's five-course table d’hôte dinner was creative and delicious, with beautiful presentation. The vegetable confits, duck, and courgette and rice stuffing were all outstanding, and the meal ended with a generous cheese selection. Stéphane's recipes felt original and refined. I highly recommend eating here during your stay. Marianne and Stéphane were warm, kind hosts who paid attention to every detail. Our stay was memorable, thanks to the comfort, charm, and hospitality. After a day taking in the history, the spotless pool and lovely gardens were perfect places to rest. We were warmly welcomed and got helpful ideas for places to visit and eat. Our room was lovely, and having the lounges, kitchen, and washing machine available worked perfectly for us. We were so glad we stayed here while visiting Carcassonne. Thank you!
