We only stayed one night and wished we’d booked more. The family were welcoming and friendly, and shared some lovely stories about their life. The room was nice, with a huge, clean bathroom, and breakfast was good too. We’d recommend having breakfast here and staying with them. They’re among the few actual residents inside the walls of the Cité de Carcassonne. The owner met us at the end of the cemetery, helped us park for free, and then showed us to our room inside the cité. Staying within the walls wasn’t a huge advantage in itself, but it was a really nice place. We were glad we chose it over the very commercial-looking Best Western.

In the heart of the cite`, this place has a quaint charm. The proprietor was lovely and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, with Wi-Fi, good accommodation and a good breakfast.

We found exactly the welcoming, quiet place we wanted in the middle of the medieval citadel, and the owners made it even better. They were wonderfully helpful, friendly and warm. The spacious rooms have everything you need, almost like being at home. We only stayed a night and couldn’t have asked for more.

The free parking made it very convenient for visiting the city, and we got a friendly welcome. The bed was comfortable, but the paint and tiles need updating, especially in the shower room. The cat and dog were intrusive during breakfast.

We came last year to celebrate our anniversary, and the owners were so kind. The service was lovely. On our last day, she even drove us to our car, which we’d left outside the city. Great value for money, and the city itself is beautiful. Highly recommend, 5/5.
