I'd book again, just not room A. I was in that ground-floor room at the front, where there was quite a bit of noise and car lights despite the blackout blind. There was loads of free street parking, and it's an easy stroll to the centre and shops. The shared kitchen was well equipped and easy to use, the shower was nice, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The WC smelled a bit, and the TV was only in French. Decent value for the price.

We stayed one night in the upstairs apartment before our flight home in July 2018. The place is fantastic. My kids were so impressed that they started filming as soon as we arrived. The layout is great, and the decor is really well done. The owners are kind and helpful. I'd recommend considering this place if you're in the area.

The little market next door was perfect for dried Meats, wine, and fresh vegetables. The house had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. The rooms are large, and there's a living room on the third floor with a workout bike and bench press. They even had toys for our one year old. There's no AC, but we didn't really need it, since the place cools down pretty quickly at night through the vortex windows in the ceiling. The town is a short walk away, so there's no need to pay for parking. I'd definitely stay again.

The private garden is a nice feature, and the room never got too hot during our stay. There's no climate control, though, and the house is a bit noisy. The room was clean and spacious enough, but the bed was a little hard. The kitchen is shared with other guests, while the bathroom and toilet are private. A decent place to stay while visiting Carcasonne.

The apartment is nicely set up and convenient, with easy street parking. It's a little way out from the centre, but still a nice place.
